Back again

Someone hacked into my website and my computer person had to take it down. She's got it back up but I don't think I'll be able to work on my blog there -- as I used to. I might not be able to accept comments, so I decided to open a new blog. My old one at Blogger (Celtic Musings) no longers works--haven't written on it in about a year. It's still there but I can't seem to get into it.

So here I am, starting out all over again. At my age, starting over is a hard thing to do, but I will survive. I haven't really had the urge to write on the blog of late. In many years, I had never been hacked and I feel violated--as if my privacy has been invaded.

For those of you who have been following my blog, I just want to thank you for all the correspondence and hope that you will continue to drop me a line. I have put the suspense novel, Vengeance Is Mine, down for a bit. I was getting tired of fighting with it. I am now writing the second book in the Saratoga series, Saratoga Winter: 1865. This is the story about the youngest of the O'Malley brothers, Egan. Egan is the one who journeyed to America with the oldest brother. He's kinda' a fascinating guy, strong-willed, determined and yet compassionate. We'll have to see how he develops.

Dorice,

I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble with spammers. You'd think people would have better things to do with their time than to annoy someone they don't even know. Hmm...

I am glad to see that you haven't let the spammers stop you from blogging, even if you don't really feel like doing it at the moment. We do like hearing how you are progressing with your writing.

It's too bad about VIM, but I can understand the need to work on something else, at least until you get VIM sorted out in your mind. Besides, your publisher is waiting fro the second book in the Saratoga series, right. From what I'm reading here, it sounds like it will be an interesting read (Yes, I'm going by the character description alone, LOL) I'll be looking forward to seeing it when we finally get up and running again in WS.

Well, I better go. Plenty to do and not much time to do it in.

May you have a truly Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Marlicia,
I'm so glad you found me. Thanks to your help, I have been able to get back on WVU in the Olde Towne. Our Slingers group is getting back together and I think we'll be sailing along.

Hi, Dorice:

Just dropping in to say Hi and to say that Monday night on Phil Harris's show was great fun. Sorry about what the spammers did to your website, hope your webmistress can get it back up running for you again. My son handles mine, Thank God, but there are times when it seems like I have to keep after him to do so. He recently updated my website and added my trailers to it. It is really great that all one has to do is click on the icon he has on there that resembles a television tube with a U and youtube shows up with my trailer. Neat. Wishing you much success with your new WIP. *Hugs*

Elena
